I throw shows, not punk shows not indie hipster shows, not metal/rock shows just shows. I try to keep all shows at a decent price, I value "local" bands just as much as "out of town" bands.

It’s over, it’s done, and I’m almost dead.

That’s how I feel, and besides me losing money I’m really really amazed and awed by what happened yesterday at M.P.M. Fest. and the days leading up to it.  Both good and bad the experiences is something that I’ll never forget.

It was beautiful and from what I gathered a lot of the people that showed up actually had a  FUN time.  And for me that’s one of the main reasons why throw these shows..big or small.

Thanks to everyone who played locally and non locally, I look at you all the same.  With out you there would be a big chunk of art missing in me.

Thanks to everyone who were my hands, eyes, ears , muscle, words, and whatever else I might have thrown at you.  I appreciate it more then you’ll ever know.  It was a skeleton crew but a damn good one.

Thank you to everyone that helped spread the word about the festival, you did so much that it re-inspired me in so many ways.  It was one of the main reasons why I stayed standing up and never gave into  laying down.  You all had no reason to help me and you did anyways and to me that’s amazing.

To the people who paid to get in, i thank you for not making me that much poorer and I truly do appreciate that support.

To the people who weaseled their way in and got in for free, thanks for being douches and making me poorer then I already am.  You bastards really don’t understand what it means to be screwed over like that.  It hurts more then anything.  I still pay for every single show I go too and refuse to get in for free.

Next year if I do have M.P.M. I’ll be doing it for the same reasons.

I really do thank you all.

Baths, experimental electronic act to play Valley Festival - Festiva Magazine - TheMonitor.com

Yet another write up from Festiva about one of the acts playing M.P.M. Fest on March 15th.  This time it’s about BATHS, check him out…his live performances are fast becoming well known

Curtis Mayfield - “Little Child Running Wild”  This guy steals my heart.  His music is one of my favorites…he thoroughly knows how to pull at the strings attached to my heart.  He knows how to play my emotions better then anyone else.  I wish he was playing M.P.M.

Please listen and repeat.

White Arrows - Coming or Going (animation) This band based out of L.A. California are hitting a lot of people in the sweet spot. lets see if they hit yours at  M.P.M. Fest March 15th. along with several others like Colour Revolt, Gobble Gobble, Baths, Toro Y Moi, Dignan and more.

THE CHEAPEST SPRING BREAK FESTIVAL IN AGES!
