Cloud Nothings - “Water Turns Back”

I think it’s funny how all these genres our coming out and people are all about them.  A lot of people have been listening to bands that recorded out of their bedroom/basement/garage/attic/ you get the point, for a long time. It’s not a genre it’s just how they record their music. I never really gave it much thought until people couldn’t believe such good music can be recorded so cheaply.

I’m excited to see Cloud Nothings this coming Tuesday when they play M.P.M. Fest.

Toro Y Moi - “New Beat” (Official Video)    As you all know this young fellow will be making his way down here for the very first time on March 15th.

I’ve been waiting two years for this.  His new album picked up a funkier beat to it which fine by me since I’m a lover of funk/r&b/disco/ and soul.

He’s playing with a full band now and it should be worth seeing.  Plus it’s only $15 dollars.

So please, we all say we want music like this to come down here and events like this to happen.  Well it’s finally happening..please tell your friends.  Drag them with you to the festival if you have too.
